Position Overview:
As a Level 1 IT Technician, you will be the first line of support for our IT needs. This entry-level position is perfect for those starting their IT careers. You will handle basic troubleshooting and support tasks, providing assistance to users and escalating issues to higher-level technicians when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware and Software Support: Provide support for company equipment, including laptops and mobile devices.
- IT Help Desk: Offer general assistance and support.
- Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange Management: Handle user accounts, security groups, mailboxes, distribution lists, and limited server troubleshooting.
- Backup & Restoration: Perform system and data backups and restorations.
- System Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance and offer occasional on-call support.
- Software Updates: Evaluate, test, and deploy crucial software and security updates.
- Workstation Management: Set up and dismantle workstations.
- Security: Manage malware, viruses, and other security threats.
- Network Support: Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues.
- VPN Support: Assist with remote VPN connectivity.
- IT Training: Create and deliver support training materials for internal and external users.
- Proprietary Software Support: Provide production support for tablet-based proprietary software.
- Document Management: Create and manipulate documents using Microsoft and Adobe software.
Additional Duties:
- Office maintenance as needed
- Technical field operations
- General office operations
